I wanted to pass on that when we cleared in at Torreon, we discovered that they require the fee for the multi-entry permit be paid into a federal account at the bank. $1473 mx pesos. This caused some confusion and time wasting for sure. We didn't have time to pay in Torreon since we were fuelling up to continue on to Zacatecas that afternoon. I asked the guy in Zacatecas if I could pay there and he said to go to the bank and deposit the fee into the account. The banks were closed and we were heading to Oaxaca first thing the next morning. He said to pay in Oaxaca! We went to a bank and paid the fee into the account and emailed the receipt to the first guy in Torreon. He acknowledged the receipt and said we were good to go. Anyone else have any experience with this? They stamped out multi-entry permit and it looks like all the other we have received over the years. Curious if this is a new procedure for eliminating the cash factor?
