A NOTAM has been issued for Staniel Cay which states that the airport has been closed for repairs. The airport is expected to reopen on July 09, 2015

New information. Bahamas government representatives closed the airstrip 2 days ago due to the condition of the runway. They indicated that the runway will undergo repairs and reopen in 6-8 weeks. However, no machinery or material have yet to arrive on the island.
In the meantime, aircraft are using Black Point (MYEB) which is a public, government owned airport located approximately 5 Nm south of Staniel Cay.
