We have been in contact with the airport staff at San Felipe. The closure is due to resurfacing of the airport including the fuel farm area. They did tell us that due to bad weather they have not been able to make as much progress as originally planned and it is likely that the NOTAM will be extended beyond the December 05, 2014 date. The airport is back in operation receiving aircraft from 07:00 to 17:00 daily. There continues to be work underway on the ramp area so expect some issues related to this work.
