Yesterday, we attended the annual assembly of the Mexican Federation of Pilots and Aircraft Owners (FEMPPA) in San Luis Potosi (MMSP). Yours truly has been designated as the FEMPPA delegate for the state of Puebla, Mexico. Also in attendance was the new Director General of Mexico's DGAC.

During the assembly meeting, we had a chance to talk with the new Director General who asked us to meet with him next week to discuss the issues affecting US and Canadian General Aviation pilots who want to fly to Mexico. We plan to take him up on this and drive over to Mexico City for the meeting. We will keep members posted on these developments.
