If you are planning a travel to COSTA RICA, please, consider the following:
From now on, all passengers entering Costa Rica on private flights must pay a tax of $15 USD per person, as established by Law 8694.
This charge applies to all international airports in the country.
The Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT) will monitor payment compliance and report any omissions to the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC).
