The Civil Aeronautical Authority of Panama has updated the regulations for foreign private aircraft under Resolution No. 046-DG-NRA-ACC, effective December 30, 2024:

Stays of less than 72 hours: do not require a permit Stays of more than 72 hours: must request the usual permit according to the established procedure. FBOs receiving the aircraft are responsible for validating compliance with these requirements. If no FBO is used, operators must submit the complete documentation directly to the Authority upon landing in Panama. Foreign private aircraft are permitted to stay in Panamanian territory for up to 30 days. For stays exceeding this period, an annual permit is required.
