Due to the destinations growing popularity, Exuma’s International Airport is expanding! In May 2021, the Bahamas Government’s broke ground on a state-of-the-art $65 million air terminal facility, with plans to refurbish the 7,000 ft runway, construct new taxiways and aprons, a new fire station and a new air traffic control tower, it is the single largest investment in any Family Island airport in The Bahamas.

As a result of the new Exuma Airport construction, Odyssey Aviation MYEF has to relocate the existing FBO, and construct a brand-new state of the art facility with its own private ramp adjacent the new Exuma International Airport terminal building. Until the new state of the art FBO facility is ready for operation, Odyssey Aviation Exuma will continue to provide General Aviation services from a temporary office near the old facility.
